Donald Trump Eviscerates ‘Nasty’ Meghan Markle After She Snubs Him

Meghan Markle decided to snub Donald Trump by refusing to meet with him with the rest of the royal family during his upcoming trip to the United Kingdom. Now, this has come back to bite her in a big way, as Trump has fired back at Markle by slamming her.
Fox News reported that after Markle announced that she would not meet with Trump, a 2016 clip surfaced of her in which she called the current president “misogynistic” and “divisive” during his campaign against Hillary Clinton. When Trump was told of Markle’s comments yesterday, he said, “I didn’t know that. What can I say? I didn’t know that she was nasty.”
When Trump was told that Markle had said she would move to Canada if he won the election, he responded, “A lot of people are moving here (to the US).” He was then told that Markle would not be meeting with him in the U.K., and he replied, “I didn’t know that. I hope she is OK.”
Trump then took the high road when he said that he thought Markle would make “a very good” American princess. Talking about her joining the royal family, Trump said, “It is nice, and I am sure she will do excellently. She will be very good. I hope she does (succeed).”
This came after an explosive 2016 clip surfaced in which Markle held nothing back in attacking Trump.
“Yes, of course, Trump is divisive, think about female voters alone, right? I think it was in 2012 the Republican Party lost the female vote by 12 points; that is a huge number and with as misogynistic as Trump is, and so vocal about it, that is a huge chunk of it,” Markle said at the time. “You’re not just voting for a woman if it’s Hillary because she’s a woman, but certainly because Trump has made it easy to see that you don’t really want that kind of world that he’s painting.”
Though Markle will not meet with Trump during his U.K. visit, her husband Prince Harry will along with Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles.
