Hell Freezes Over As New York Times Publishes Apology To President Trump For Russia Collusion Hoax

President Trump took to Twitter on Easter Sunday to rub it in Democrats’ faces that special counsel Robert Mueller’s nearly 2 years of research found no evidence of “Russian collusion” during the 2016 Trump presidential campaign.

Trump wrote on Twitter, “The Trump Haters and Angry Democrats who wrote the Mueller Report were devastated by the No Collusion finding! Nothing but a total ‘hit job’ which should never have been allowed to start in the first place!”

The New York Post reports:

Attorney General William Barr released a redacted version of Mueller’s 448-page report last Thursday that concluded there was no evidence that Trump or any of his campaign associated colluded with the Russians.

But the report also said that Mueller and his investigators struggled with the idea of whether Trump obstructed justice, asserting that if they had confidence after “a thorough investigation of the facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state.”

He also faulted Democratic lawmakers in Congress – where several probes into Trump are ongoing – for wanting to continue the investigations after the Mueller report’s findings.

“Despite No Collusion, No Obstruction, The Radical Left Democrats do not want to go on to Legislate for the good of the people, but only to Investigate and waste time. This is costing our Country greatly, and will cost the Dems big time in 2020!” the President stated.

President Trump sent out another tweet while at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, mentioning an opinion piece posted last week in the New York Times. The writer of the piece called on the media to apologize to the President for their actions against him.

Trump wrote, “Do you believe this? The New York Times Op-Ed: MEDIA AND DEMOCRATS OWE TRUMP AN APOLOGY. Well, they got that one right!”

The article’s author, Christopher Buskirk, explained that the “media and political elites” are going to have to work to get the trust of Americans back.

“To the public figures who promoted the collusion story, I say: Own it. Just admit you were wrong. It won’t feel good at first. But when the initial sting passes you will find it liberating. And people will respect you for it,” Buskirk wrote.

Trump sent out a fifth Easter morning tweet in which he spoke of the economy and wished Americans a “Happy Easter.”

Trump wrote, “I have never been happier or more content because your Country is doing so well, with an Economy that is the talk of the World and may be stronger than it has ever been before. Have a great day!”
